Welcome to my primary optometric practice and thank you for considering me for your eye care and vision needs. My mission is to consistently provide professional, high-quality, friendly and efficient eye exams at every visit. I always take the time to provide the best solutions to your individual needs. My diverse training has enabled me to accurately diagnose and treat not only blurred vision problems requiring glasses or contact lens correction, ocular diseases, such as red eyes, glaucoma and cataracts, but also eye teaming and focusing problems which is often times better treated with vision therapy.
My office has been designed to provide same-day appointments for emergencies, evening hours every week, and as a further convenience, Saturday morning appointments can be accommodated.
Vision Exams for Children
The American Optometric Association recommends that preschool children receive a comprehensive eye exam at the ages of six months, three years and five years. The preschool years are a time for developing the visual abilities that a child will need in school and throughout his or her life. It is especially important that a child have a complete evaluation in the summer prior to entering Kindergarten. While in school, yearly evaluations are recommended. Just as a child goes to school with all the necessary school supplies, he or she needs two eyes that see well, are healthy and work efficiently as a team.
Vision Exams for Adults
The American Optometric Association recommends a yearly eye exam for adults, not only to detect and to diagnose vision changes, but also to maintain eye health. For example, glaucoma is a disease caused by increased pressure in the eye which is completely asymptomatic until it causes vision changes which are irreversible.
The personal attention and continuity of care that my office offers enables me to provide the best care possible. I hope to have the opportunity to meet you and take care of the eye health and vision needs of you and your family.
